This application will display above the icon how many days are left until the next live-event.
If you purchase the paid version, you can check the number of days on the home screen even if the app does not open.

If you have disabled notifications in your iPhone or iPad settings, the date will not be displayed above the icon.
Open your iPhone or iPad settings to enable notifications for this app in the notification settings, and please also set the "icon badge" to ON.
